Sales Manager for the Local Market

Job Purpose
Full responsibility for managing and developing a client portfolio in the local market, including the sale of raw materials to the food and beverage industries, animal feed and pet food industries, nutritional supplements, and pharmaceutical industries.
The role includes identifying and leading business opportunities, expanding activity with existing clients, and acquiring new customers. It involves managing end-to-end sales processes, preparing price quotations, conducting negotiations, and maintaining ongoing collaboration with internal organizational interfaces.
Minimum Requirements
Professional Experience
At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales – mandatory.
Proven experience in selling raw materials / chemicals / packaging to industrial clients.
Candidates may come from a variety of industries, including food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, nutritional supplements, chemicals, plastics, packaging, and more.
Education
Bachelor’s degree – mandatory.
A degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Food Engineering – an advantage.
Skills and Qualifications
Native-level Hebrew; high-level English.
Good command of Microsoft Office; experience with Priority and BI systems – an advantage.
Strong commercial skills, including negotiation, preparation of price quotations, and the ability to manage a client portfolio, including profitability and collections.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, service orientation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Business-oriented mindset, initiative, persistence, attention to detail, and a broad organizational perspective.
Position Scope
Full-time position – combining office work and field work.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
